Creating Workbooks
In this module, you will learn how to create workbooks. This section's topics are: entering text and numbers, creating basic formulas, relative references, order of operations and working with ranges. At the end of the module, you will also undertake a practical exercise.
Module 3
Saving Workbooks
The third module focuses on Saving Workbooks. You will learn about the following topics: Working with Save and Save As Commands and File Extensions (sharing, exporting and publishing). The module concludes with another Practice Exercise which allows you to showcase your new skills.
Module 4
Navigating Workbooks
In this module, you will learn how to navigate workbooks. The topics outline how to open a file, how to work with larger files, how to use the freeze panes option and how to operate the split screen option. The module concludes with another practical exercise.
Module 5
Page Setup & Print Options
In this module, you will learn about Page Setup and Print Options, including topics such as inserting Headers and Footers, using the Page Setup Options, how to Fit to Print on One Page and print entire workbooks. You will also learn how to print titles and use comments.
Module 6
Working with Rows, Columns and Cells
In this module, you will learn about working with Rows, Columns and Cells. This section includes topics on adding and deleting rows, columns and cells, and how to change column and row widths. It concludes with a practical exercise in which you will use all the new skills you have learned.
Module 7
Moving Data
In this module, you will learn about moving data. The topics will show you how to use Cut, Copy and Paste commands, which will ensure you have the tools to work efficiently. You will also learn how to copy formulas.
Module 8
Formulas & Functions
In this module, you will learn about formulas and functions in Excel. Topics include creating formulas using functions, and how to use absolute values. The module will conclude with a practical exercise.
Module 9
Working with Sheets
In this final module, you will learn about working with sheets. The topics covered are Adding, Deleting and Renaming Sheets, how to use the Additional Sheet Tab Options, and using 3 Dimensional Formulas. The module will conclude with another practical exercise.
