About: The two-year Web Development and Internet Applications Ontario College Diploma at Algonquin College trains you in full-stack web development, client-side and server-side scripting, programming languages, database programming, TCP/IP networking and systems security. You can opt into paid co-op work terms (subject to availability and eligibility).

The two‑year Web Development and Internet Applications Ontario College Diploma prepares students for careers in internet applications and web development. Coursework covers internet technologies, full stack web development, analysis, design and implementation of internet applications, client‑side and server‑side scripting, programming languages, database programming, and systems and network security. In the final semester students work as part of a team to design and implement a multi‑tiered internet application. Students may opt into a paid co‑operative education (co‑op) work term (subject to availability and eligibility). Program is delivered across four levels (Level 01–Level 04) over two academic years (four academic terms). Year 1 (Levels 1–2) covers foundational topics: web design, client‑side scripting, databases, introductory programming and technical mathematics. Year 2 (Levels 3–4) covers server‑side programming, web application development, project management, security, a major team Project in the final term, and a course on current trends. Students choose a General Education elective. An optional paid co‑op route includes one or two co‑op work terms (WKT8001, WKT8002); co‑op work terms are typically 14 weeks in duration and subject to availability and eligibility.
