About: The Summer Program in Artificial Intelligence at Algebra Bernays University explores core AI from business and user perspectives. You’ll learn how AI components and social aspects shape real-world systems and practice innovation and experimentation through scenarios and individual projects. Teamwork, pitches and mentor feedback will help you refine ideas and communication. The course focuses on practical applications, industry collaboration, entrepreneurship and user experience to help you design, evaluate and apply AI solutions while considering benefits, risks and ethical implications.

Artificial intelligence has been a fascinating concept for more than a decade, and we are finally getting close to making AI a reality. We are currently witnessing significant innovations in various technologies that all relate to the influence of AI. This drives demand for understanding not only how to use and implement such technologies but also how the basic concepts of selected components really work.
About the program
In order to fully understand how AI will impact the future of work, this program seeks to explore the core features of AI technologies from a business and user perspective. You will learn why the social aspect of AI is important and how complex it is to create an efficient one. Be prepared to use your innovation skills and elevate them in practice. Once you grasp the key AI complexity and enabling components, we will start a discussion on how to successfully invoke AI in our lives.
You will get to play with solutions using prepared scenarios and create your own with specific target customer/industry in mind. Once you master experimenting, you will push your imagination to its limits and create your own story, share it and improve your AI skills in a group. Finally, you will be able to use this skill to learn how to navigate through business quickly and efficiently.
Teamwork and individual pitches will be presented for mentor and peer evaluation.

Algebra Bernays provides you with different types of scholarships you can apply for:
1) Full Scholarships for excellence
- 1 full scholarship per program, covering 100% of the study costs for all four weeks of the Summer School in Zagreb and Šibenik.
- Algebra is ready to offer a full scholarship to the most outstanding students covering the total amount of tuition fees!
- Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the scholarship program.
2) Partial Scholarships
- 2 partial scholarships per program, covering 30% to 50% of tuition fees.
- The scholarship amount will be determined by Algebra Bernays University based on the quality of the applications received – better candidates will receive higher scholarships.
- Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the scholarship program.
Scholarship applications are open from 1 November 2026 to 31 January 2027.

Students will earn a minimum of 6 ECTS credits for their chosen program, while exploring the capital city of Zagreb and the town of Šibenik, a jewel on the Adriatic coast at its liveliest season.
International students can earn additional 4 ECTS credits with our free Croatian Language and Cultureprogram, where they will discover interesting facts about Croatian culture and even learn a bit of Croatian to make them feel right at home!
Students will receive a final certificate upon successful completion of the program that they can add to their CV and further propel their career in digital technologes.
