About: The Bachelor in Cybersecurity at Algebra Bernays University teaches practical, interdisciplinary skills in information security, network and cloud security, systems and network administration, threat analysis, and digital forensics. It combines theory, hands-on labs, industry collaboration and a mandatory internship to build skills in threat assessment, data analysis and security controls. The four-year programme's taught in English.

The Cybersecurity study programme equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for cybersecurity careers and for the roles of systems and network administrators.

The four-year Professional undergraduate Study Programme in Cybersecurity offers students the expertise required to build a successful career in the IT industry, with a particular focus on cybersecurity, applicable worldwide. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skills in computing and cybersecurity. It includes analytical skills for threat assessment, techniques for data collection and analysis for security purposes, as well as the use of modern tools and technologies to implement robust security controls and policies in ICT environments. Additionally, the mandatory internship with leading companies enables students to apply their skills in real-world settings, further enhancing their readiness for the labour market.

- Apply comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity principles to design, implement and manage secure systems.
- Apply ethical and legal considerations in cybersecurity, demonstrating accountability and integrity.
- Design incident response protocols, including management, notification and recovery procedures, and implement them using advanced techniques and tools to effectively identify, analyse, identify and respond to cyber threats.
- Create and implement comprehensive data protection strategies, including encryption, identity and access management, and compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Analyse and evaluate various methods and tools for system security testing, including penetration testing and vulnerability analysis, to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures, including the development of safety guidelines and safety awareness training among employees.

Cybersecurity Implementer

Systems Administrator
- A Systems Administrator manages, maintains, and configures servers and computer systems. They ensure the stability and efficiency of the IT infrastructure, perform updates and upgrades, and implement security policies to protect data and resources.
Cloud Administrator
- A Cloud Administrator manages cloud infrastructure and services. Responsible for configuring, monitoring, and managing cloud resources, they ensure the scalability, availability, and security of cloud services. They also provide technical support and advise on best practices for cloud optimization and security.
