Program Outcome
What Will You Learn as an Environmental Geology Minor?
You’ll learn how geological processes and human activity are impacting global environmental change.
You’ll study the origins of the mineral and energy resources that humans have come to depend on–like gold, diamonds, water, oil, and building materials–and learn about the environmental implications of their utilization.
You’ll contextualize everything you learn through hands-on experience, by undertaking and presenting field and/or lab research, studying abroad, or participating in an internship.
