Accounting, described as “The Language of Business”, is the study of the concepts and techniques used in reporting on matters related to an entity’s financial status and performance. Entities compete in both input and product markets which is why accounting information is essential for managers to plan and control business activities. Information generated through the accounting process helps in the communication and analysis of financial reports that are required for business decision-making.

Graduation Requirements
Students will be awarded the Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree upon fulfilment of the following requirements:
- Successful completion of 126 credit hours, which normally takes eight semesters
- 16 weeks of industrial internship (after the completion of 90 credit hours including seven Accounting core courses), which is equivalent to three credit hours
- A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.0
