Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology

This is a 2 year program whose goal is to train and equip professional Christian counsellors with relevant knowledge, skills, attitudes and values in the general and specific areas of counselling psychology, addiction studies; family and marital issues, children and adolescent issues as well as management of trauma that will enable them to effectively meet the needs of society.

It costs Kshs.75,000 ($750) tuition per semester.

Intakes are in August/September, December/January and April/May of every year.

Delivery modes are:

  1. Full-time
  2. Holiday (i.e. three weeks every April, August, and December)
  3. Blended learning and (iv) Saturdays

The requirement is an undergraduate degree with at least 1st class/2nd class Honours (upper division) or lower division with 2 years working/ministry experience.
