Key Summary
Introduction
Start your bachelor's in Norway, and finish in the USA!
ACN offers a wide variety of courses which fit into the general education requirements or electives at U.S. universities. The courses offered each semester will be based on the expertise of the visiting faculty.
When students study abroad in Norway at ACN, students take U.S. university courses that easily transfer to any U.S. university. ACNโs school of record is the University of North Dakota (UND) and all courses are pre-approved and transcripted by UND โ making it very easy for U.S. university students wanting to study abroad in Norway at ACN, to transfer their credits completed abroad back to their home university.
The course in Moss constitutes one year of a four-year American bachelor's degree and gives 30 credits (corresponding to 60 Norwegian credits) which can be transferred to a university in the USA. Teaching at ACN takes place in English, and you attend classes with both Norwegian and international students.
The year at ACN consists of subjects that are compulsory for all American bachelor students, so-called general education requirements. The subjects provide a broad introduction to, among other things, language, history, culture, and mathematics. After studying with us, you have all options open when you want to study further in the USA!
All teaching at ACN takes place in English. The lecturers are American professors, and you attend classes with both Norwegian and American students. Smaller classes mean that the teachers can focus more on you so that you get good help to reach your academic goals.
American professors have clear expectations of how students should behave in the classroom. ACN is a golden opportunity to get used to the cultural differences in a safe and familiar classroom environment, rather than in large lecture halls with hundreds of strangers.
