Introduction
The Master in Fashion Communication & Art Direction is aimed at graduates and/or professionals wishing to undertake a course that offers an opportunity to explore cultural insight and practical experience within this sector.
This course is built on a cultural and curatorial approach, anthropology and sociology, and history of fashion in order to culturally deepen the knowledge of global cultures that are an integral part of the social and economic system. Technological such as AI, Internet of Things, Big Data, Blockchain all require understanding from both creative and technical sides for business development, purchasing models, and most importantly communication strategies. Likewise, styling, fashion filmmaking, digital graphic communication as well as the written narrative, the art of writing and storytelling that is effective in a world that will become more and more virtual and more and more analog-based.Course Structure.
Duration
The course duration is one academic year and attendance is mandatory. However, to be accepted at the final assessments students must have at least 80% proven attendance.

Curriculum
The course consists of various elements: Anthropology, History of fashion, Sociology, (to frame the cultural context), Computer graphics, Photography, Elements of editorial communication (to concretize theory and practice and provide the operational tools of the field), Professionalism, (in which the relationship between new technologies, marketing and communication will be analyzed).
The project activities, in Methodology of visual communication, involves the most relevant companies and institutions in the sector with the aim of reconciling technical skills, conceptual research, experimentation, and development of the final product (whether it is a film, curating an exhibition, an editorial project, a digital strategy, etc.). For each project, theoretical and theoretical-practical activities are set, including specific briefs aimed at providing students with a more detailed explanation of the projects to be implemented.

The Master in Fashion Communication & Art Direction is aimed at those who already have a basic preparation, who have obtained a 1st Level Academic Diploma (DAPL), graduates or undergraduates of the Academy of Fine Arts, Architecture, DAMS – Discipline Arti Musica Spettacolo (DAMS – Art Music Entertainment Disciplines), Communication Sciences or equivalent qualifications, to those who want to complete and/or deepen their cultural and professional training in the field of fashion communication.
