Key Summary
The Master of Arts in Industrial Product Design foresees an innovative approach to conventional design based on research in new interrelated systems ranging from objects to services and on the most current themes in all industrial production sectors such as sustainability, Internet of things and Industry 4.0.
The “user experience” becomes the fulcrum of design in which ergonomics, design and production respond to the perceptual and emotional needs of contemporary society.
Artificial Intelligence and high-level artisanship give rise to “artisanal intelligence” for the production of skillfully designed smart industrial products.
The Product Designer of tomorrow knows about the materials and processes related to the circular economy, combining the product and the experience to make them interact positively with the surrounding environment.
