About: The IBTIKAR programme, launched in December 2013 by Abu Dhabi Ports, channels employees', customers' and stakeholders' ideas into practical improvements. It acts as an in-house suggestions scheme and innovation platform focused on building sector capabilities and new business lines to make services more efficient for customers, staff and partners. The programme encourages active participation across the organisation and beyond, supporting idea generation, process improvement, intrapreneurship and stakeholder engagement.
Career Outcomes: Participants can develop skills in innovation management, change delivery, project evaluation and continuous improvement. Potential roles include innovation coordinator, process improvement specialist, intrapreneur, operations analyst and stakeholder engagement officer.
