Advantages

This course covers all the knowledge and practical learning required for students to qualify as an AMM. Students complete an 11-month theory course, 2 800 hours of On-the-Job Training and a Trade Test.

Pre-entry requirements

  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4
  • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science
  • Must be physically mobile and able to do manual labor
  • Must be 18 years or older

Trade Certificates issued under Section 26(D) of Skills Development Act, 1998 (Act No 97 of 1998):

  • 653201: Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic
