Introduction

The world of manga is expanding more and more. The commercial manga market crosses national borders and is translated into the languages of each country to the world. In addition, with the spread of e-books and simple videos, the medium has expanded to smartphones and tablets. Furthermore, the work of using manga expression has spread to the game and advertising industry, and many ways to live by manga expression have been opened up for people other than commercial manga artists. And Japan has the largest number of manga artists in the world. Even amateurs and indies are sending their works by themselves, gaining a lot of praise, and sometimes financially succeeding.

Manga is "the most easily communicated means of communication in the world." Therefore, excellent manga expression has explosive appeal and diffusion power. To develop people who can learn and understand the skills, create new expressions, and be active in society at large. That is the goal of our manga major.
