Introduction
The practical and research activities of the bachelor of history are aimed at studying the history of the Fatherland and world civilizations, domestic and foreign historiography, source studies, theory and research methodology with the aim of a professional understanding of the socio-cultural and political conditions for the development of the modern world, identifying sustainable trends in historical dynamics, forecasting the future.
Graduates can work in the education system as teachers in secondary schools, secondary specialized educational institutions, gymnasiums, lyceums, libraries, archives, museums, organizations, and cultural institutions, as experts in analytical centres, in public state organizations, in government bodies, and local self-government.
The bachelor is prepared for a master's degree (2 years); upon completion, they are awarded a master's degree in history.
