The study in PhD in Systems Engineering and Informatics consists of the study part ending with the final state exam and the research part focuses on the dissertation thesis and its defence. The credit system is applied for the evaluation of the study. The aim of the Master's programme System Engineering and Informatics is to obtain best education in critical thinking.

The aim of the Ph.D. course is to prepare students for both fundamental and applied research in informatics with a view to other disciplines of science understood to be a creative inspiration for research and development of new structures and algorithms and their final implementation.

The Systems Engineering and Informatics Masters programme provides students with extensive theoretical knowledge in statistics, operation and system analysis, system theory and modelling of technical, economical and social systems, information technologies and information engineering.

The Systems Engineering and Informatics Bachelors program provides students with extensive theoretical knowledge in mathematics, statistics, operation and system analysis, system theory and modelling of technical, economical and social systems, information technologies and information engineering.

The program is built on a common theoretical basis consisting of 21 compulsory courses totaling 119 ECTS credits (total workload is 180 ECTS credits) to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills at all levels of ICT architectures. The structure of the program reflects the recommendations of ACM and IEEE CS, the world's most recognized authorities in the field of informatics degree programs. The program is divided into six branches, each of which is characterized by a group of six compulsory branch courses.

The graduate is an educated professional in information support for logistics processes (organization, planning and managing the flow of good within its whole lifecycle). Thanks to a high share of practical education held in cooperation with partner companies, the graduate can efficiently implement modern information and communication technologies in all logistics processes according to Industry 4.0 principles.
