10 Humanities Degree Programs in Romania

The Faculty of Philosophy, in a partnership with the Faculty of Business and Administration, are pleased to announce the launch of their new jointly organized MA program in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, starting October 2017. It is the first PPE program in Romania, and one of the very few in Eastern Europe.

This program provides Romanian language courses particularly designed for foreign students who aim to undertake academic studies at a Romanian University or wish to improve and brush up on their previously acquired knowledge.

The DILARA master's degree program is structured following an interdisciplinary model that encompasses the analysis and presentation of thematic content, methodologies, resources, and digital technology tools pertinent to both fundamental research and applied domains within linguistics. This program emphasizes the intersection of language studies with computational sciences, educational sciences, and other related disciplines. Moreover, it extends its scope to the analytical and technological support of various societal sectors, such as culture, education, history, political sciences, media, journalism and others, thereby fostering a broad and integrative approach to language technologies and their applications across diverse fields of study. This design ensures a coherent and comprehensive educational path aimed at equipping students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to engage with contemporary challenges at the nexus of linguistics and digital innovations.

This is a two-year research master programme aiming to provide students with various useful skills and insights needed to do independent intellectual work in philosophy at postgraduate level.

The Faculty of Social, Humanities and Natural Sciences currently represents an important didactic and scientific potential within the large family of faculties that make up Hyperion University.

Within this Master's program, students deepen their knowledge and understanding of screenwriting. During this two-year process, the theoretical aspects are combined with the actual practice. Master participants study the history of screenwriting, the specificity of the film script and the possibilities of defining it. At the same time, he becomes familiar with different cinematic narrative structures, approaches specific genres, analyzes the possibilities of adapting a literary text and explores types of scenarios characteristic of television or VOD platforms (series, mini-series, etc.). The master's degree in screenwriting marks the transition from the tutoring system (approached in the bachelor's program) to the script doctoring system: the teachers of the year guide and support students in finding the theme, style and way of telling their specific story, as a script would do. doctors often used by industry screenwriters. At the end of each Master's year, students have in their portfolio at least one feature film script.

The Preparatory Program of Romanian Language for Foreign Students is part of the Faculty of Political Sciences, Letters and Communication, the Letters Department, “Valahia” the University of Targovişte, and has a duration of 2 semesters (28 weeks, 60 credits).

It allows the development of a career in various fields of culture such as: translation, book publishing, media, education (by enrolling in the pedagogical module), both in private institutions and in-state institutions. Graduates can easily integrate into multinational societies due to fluency in the foreign language and intercultural skills acquired during their years of study.

State-accredited two-year training (120 credits) in preparation for pastoral service in the Reformed, Lutheran and Unitarian churches. The purpose of the Master of Science (MSc) is twofold. On the one hand, it provides an opportunity to acquire the versatile practical theological knowledge required for pastoral ministry.
