The undergraduate program in English Studies focuses on practical skills and combines several modules, such as linguistics, intensive language learning, as well as cultural and historical background of the English speaking countries. Thanks to this approach, students gain multifaceted skills, including language competencies, academic reading and writing, multicultural awareness, and teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL).

Global and Development Studies (GLAD) is an interdisciplinary program, which aims to equip students with a fundamental understanding of processes of globalization in various spheres of human activity: law, politics, economy, history, social relations, culture, and communication. Students gain core knowledge of the very phenomena of globalization and international development as well as specialize in their various aspects and influence they have on the contemporary world. The program is structured in such a way that it allows students to focus either on a selected part of the world, or specific global problems and challenges.

The Preparatory English Language Course provides intensive training in all four language skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing, ensuring students achieve a minimum B2 level of proficiency according to the CEFR scale, enabling them to start studies at VIZJA University.

"Graduate Philosophy in English” is a 2-year MA program for both Polish and foreign students. All offered courses are taught entirely in the English language. The studies are meant to develop philosophical skills and competencies that are useful in the professional, public, and private spheres (e.g., critical thinking, creativity, rationality, and effective argumentation).

The BA in English Philology is a three-year programme for those who want to turn language passion into a global career. You’ll master English at an advanced level and gain skills in communication, translation, intercultural competence and digital tools for language professionals.

The MA in English Philology will refine your language command to the highest level—including marketing, business, and public communication—and select one of two study paths: Translation or Language Education, gaining practical professional skills in your chosen path.

The Master's Degree in Languages and Societies with a specialization in Arabic Studies trains you in research techniques and the issues, concepts, theories and methodologies of your disciplinary field in order to prepare you for careers in higher education, research and training.

The B.A. of Philosophy graduates can progress to M.A. programs (e.g.. in Philosophy, Cognitive Studies, Cultural Studies); get a degree which equips them with a variety of transferable skills that are highly attractive to employers.

Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa participates in the STER program and opens recruitment for the Doctoral School for candidates from abroad wishing to write a doctoral dissertation in the field of Humanities in the discipline of Linguistics. From the second semester, there is a possibility to be granted a STER scholarship funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and European Social Fund for the best scholarly results and achievements. In this way participation in the STER program, to a big extent, will facilitate the foreign doctoral students to conduct their scientific research in the discipline of Linguistics at Jan Dlugosz University Doctoral School in Częstochowa.
