The South Gate creative writing program is designed as an inspiring experience for artists. The innovative curriculum provides a holistic and fluid approach to craft, avoiding busy work to free up your time for writing. The international Master’s degree programme in Children’s Literature, Media & Cultural Entrepreneurship (CLMC) is aimed at students who wish to pursue a career in children’s literature, media, and education across a broad range of professional fields. It is also intended as preparation for PhD study. The jointly developed and implemented programme will provide you with academic knowledge and research skills and develop your practical employability.

The MA in Linguistics at Aarhus University explores the various aspects of language through project-based research under expert supervision. Students in the programme learn to use qualitative, quantitative, and computational methods to examine language description and diversity, the role of language in communication and society, functionalist theories of language, language as a cognitive phenomenon, and experimental and computational approaches to the study of language.

The Master’s degree program in Human Security is based on the UN’s Human Security approach and focuses on conflict and environmental issues. During recent years and partly due to the work of the UN, the concept of ‘human security’ has become a rallying point for understanding and working with processes of (human) development in unstable environments.

MSc PHIL combines philosophy and business studies. You will be trained in applying philosophical concepts, theories and analyses in the study of business practice as well as general economics. Each course in the programme is organized as an encounter between philosophical theory and a specific theme that has relevance to business practice or general economics. The purpose is for students to attain specific knowledge about themes such as finance, leadership, Corporate Social Responsibility, money, sustainability or Human Resource Management, while providing them with methods and concepts to reflect critically on this knowledge.
