📢 Winner of the Undergraduate in STEM Scholarship 2024

Emili's story

Originally from Armenia, Emili developed a love for technology and innovation through her early involvement in extracurricular activities. Now studying at IE University, she serves as co-president of the Google Developer Student Club, where she helps students build technical skills, supports women in STEM, and encourages teamwork.

Beyond her university work, Emili is an ambassador for Feminno Global, where she organized Armenia's largest tech conference for women, inspiring many to explore careers in technology. On a global scale, she's part of the Advisory Council on Youth at the Council of Europe, where she shares young people's perspectives on AI and digital policy.

Balancing her studies, part-time jobs, and leadership roles, Emili has shown determination and passion for making a difference. As she approaches her final year of her Bachelor's in Data and Business Analytics, she is eager to apply everything she's learned to make an impact in the tech world.

Looking ahead: Building a better future with technology

For Emili, studying data science is about more than just learning technical skills – it's about solving real-world problems. She's currently working on "Smartinfo AI", a project that uses artificial intelligence to fight fake news and misinformation on social media.

She also dreams of creating a free training program to teach people AI and tech skills, helping them find new opportunities in today's digital world. With her leadership, knowledge, and drive, Emili is determined to make these ideas a reality and create a brighter, more inclusive future.
