The Graduate Diploma in High Performance Sport is designed for a diverse cohort, utilising flexible learning modes suitable for both working professionals and local plus international students. This course is part of a stacked suite of degrees —Graduate Certificate (4 subjects), Graduate Diploma (8 subjects), or Master’s (12 subjects)—allowing for a personalised educational journey that lays a robust foundation for careers in high performance sport, with pathways for further specialisation. The Graduate Diploma in High Performance Sport allows students to complete their studies flexibly, by completing one foundational core subject, and the option to select 7/8 other core subjects, focusing on different technical areas, and 1 industry-focused Partitioner Pathway subject. Delivered online by world-leading academics and industry professionals, it engages with global organisations to enrich the learning experience. The programme's unique delivery model caters to both domestic and international students, allowing them to tailor their learning to local and global industry demands. This is further enhanced by flexible professional practice experiences, offering interstate and international students the opportunity for hands-on practical learning in their location and fostering a truly global learning community. Local students (and any students visiting Sydney) also have access to the UTS Sport, Exercise & Rehabilitation building at the Moore Park Precinct further enriches this experience, offering world-class research facilities. Upon graduation from the GDHPS, students also have the option to continue studies in our stacked suite of degrees, by enrolling in the Master of High Performance Sport. The UTS High Performance Sport programme is designed to foster graduates' development as forward-thinking leaders and innovators in the demanding world of high performance sport. The course develops skills in critical thinking, lifelong learning, adaptability in the face of change, and the ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into effective practice.
