The MSc Geopolitics and Business offers a unique and rigorous academic experience that bridges the gap between international relations and business strategy. The Geopolitics, Resources, and Territory MA explores territorial and resource-related aspects of inter-state relations. Blending social sciences with international law, it covers boundaries, sovereignty, and environmental geopolitics, with insights from leading practitioners in dispute resolution and management.

In this track you will be introduced to a novel approach, developed and led by colleagues at Groningen, to understand geopolitics as a connectivity effect.

Our new one-year Master’s by coursework programme commencing AY2026/2027 on the Geopolitics of South Asia is an exciting addition to our existing Master’s by research offerings. This programme offers a structured and intensive learning experience that equips students with both breadth and depth of knowledge across a wide spectrum of geopolitical issues. It offers an interdisciplinary, future-forward education to aspiring journalists, entrepreneurs, analysts, policymakers, diplomats, researchers, and academics to engage with one of the world’s most dynamic geopolitical landscapes.

As the international scene becomes increasingly complex, understanding the fundamentals of how people, governments, international institutions and the environment interact is becoming increasingly important. The Master's Degree in Global Economics and Geopolitics is an official master's degree designed to train leaders capable of understanding and acting in complex economic and geopolitical scenarios.

As the international scene becomes increasingly complex, understanding the fundamentals of how people, governments, international institutions, and the environment interact is becoming increasingly important.

The Summer School will take place in Pisa. Between the afternoon of Monday, July 6, and the morning of Friday, July 10, 2026, twenty-five hours of lectures and seminars will be held. An MS Teams connection will be provided so that the lectures and seminars can be attended online as well.

This program analyses and explores processes that shape global geopolitics and geoeconomics, particularly in geostrategic regions. The program will cultivate your analytical skills. You will connect different fields of study and combine a global perspective with attention to detail and local interests. Therefore, the program is an excellent stepping stone for both future academic and professional careers. There is an option of a double degree in collaboration with National Taiwan University.

Our global studies program helps students understand the complex relationships at work and become adept at finding solutions to challenging issues. If subjects such as politics, international relations, policy-making, sustainability, or macroeconomics interest you, you’ll appreciate Carroll University’s interdisciplinary program. We combine courses in political science, economics, philosophy, history, religious studies, environmental science, and public health. And you’ll select an emphasis that adds focus in economics, geopolitical issues or world regions.
