The International Foundation Program, as provided by South China University of Technology, is meticulously crafted to equip international students with the essential skills and knowledge required for thriving within a university environment. This program is tailored to individuals who may not meet the requisite criteria for direct admission into undergraduate programs at SCUT.

International Foundation Year Programme (IFYP) equips students from different countries with the skills and knowledge required for undergraduate courses at Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU). It offers an alternative path to further studies at HKSYU apart from mainstream public examinations such as GCE, A-Levels or International Baccalaureate (IB). In this programme, international students will improve their academic English Language proficiency and enhance their study skills and understanding of arts, social science, and business. Students who complete this programme and fulfil specific GPA and language requirements will be eligible for many undergraduate programmes from HKSYU.

SUPERNOVA is a foundation programme designed for international students aged 17–25. It supports academic and language development and ensures progression to the first year of a degree at NOVA University, upon meeting the required criteria.

The Foundation Year is a nine-month, full immersion preparatory course in Italian for international students willing to enroll in a BA taught in Italian at #UNIPAVIA. The Foundation Year is aimed at students who do not meet the minimum requirement – 12 years of schooling – to access the Italian higher education system.

The Pathway to your desired international degree program

The SUMAS Foundation Year is a flexible, one-year pathway program that combines rigorous academic learning with hands-on experience in leadership, entrepreneurship and sustainability management.

The Foundation Course in Engineering and Science is a multidisciplinary program that includes teachings in mathematics, physics, biology, and chemistry, along with English language courses (B2 level) and Italian language courses (A1 and A2 levels).

The Middlesex University Dubai International Foundation Programme (IFP) is a 120-credit programme which aims to provide students with the required skills for entry into one of our undergraduate programmes.

Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is one of Spain’s leading public universities and was recently ranked as the top public university in Spain. With students from more than 100 countries, UC3M offers a truly international environment in the heart of Madrid. The Gap Year Program is designed for recent high school graduates, university students seeking a study abroad experience, and individuals looking to gain international experience while exploring future academic and career goals. Participants combine academic learning with cultural immersion, volunteering, mentoring, and fascinating trips across Spain. Students can study for one semester or a full academic year, earning academic credits that may be transferred to their home institution. The program also offers the opportunity to prepare for and obtain the official DELE Spanish language certification and CLEP credentials, enhancing language skills and academic credentials.

The Foundation Course is a study program, taught in English and primarily aimed at candidates who do not possess the minimum schooling requirements outlined in current legislation for enrolment at Italian universities. Attendance of the Foundation Course is mandatory and students must accumulate all the credits provided by the course in order to obtain the final qualification. The modules available within the Foundation Course are taught in English and a Foundation Course in Science prepares students interested in studying a degree program in Medicine, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Maths, Natural Sciences, Pharmacy, and Physics.
