Our photography programmes provide at the core an engaging framework in contemporary photography. Students develop a strong understanding of visual culture and artistic freedom in art and commercial practices. This two-year Foundation Degree (FDA) in Photography is delivered at Barking & Dagenham College's Rush Green campus, in partnership with UEL (University of East London). If you successfully complete the FDA Photography programme you could move on to study for the BA (Hons) in Photography, which is also offered in partnership with UEL.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, commonly known as the United Kingdom and Britain, is a sovereign state located off the northwestern coast of continental Europe. The two most famous (and oldest) universities are Oxford and Cambridge (often referred to as Oxbridge by many Britons). England also has several other world-class institutions, including several in London (notably Imperial College, the London School of Economics, University College London and King's College London, all are part of London University).

A foundation year will prepare students to complete their more advanced degree curriculum. With required courses, students get a good idea of what life will be like when they are accepted into their degree program and begin to pursue their dreams.
