The Foundation Year is a nine-month, full immersion preparatory course in Italian for international students willing to enroll in a BA taught in Italian at #UNIPAVIA. The Foundation Year is aimed at students who do not meet the minimum requirement – 12 years of schooling – to access the Italian higher education system.

If English is not your first language, this international foundation year will give you the necessary academic English skills to study for an undergraduate degree in UK higher education. As part of your course in International Foundation Year, you’ll: Build your intercultural awareness and self-confidence.

The Foundation Programme in International Relations and Diplomacy at the Geneva School of Diplomacy is a one-semester academic pathway designed to introduce students to global affairs, diplomacy, and international cooperation. Delivered in the heart of International Geneva, the programme combines academic foundations with practical insight into diplomacy, international organisations, and global governance. It prepares participants for further university study or professional engagement in international environments.

The Foundation Course (FC) is a 2-semester study program that allows students with less than 12 years of schooling to fulfil the prerequisites for pursuing a bachelor’s program in LUM and any Italian University. In particular, it is aimed at students. The course is also intended for those who wish to improve their background and linguistic skills even if they have a minimum of 12 years of schooling.

This 1-year program will definitely boost your English and your university study skills with 16 hours per week in small groups of 10-12 international students. Foundation Studies programs are a direct academic pathway to first-year undergraduate degree study, or equivalent. The programs act as a bridging course for international students who wish to study a university undergraduate degree course but don’t yet meet academic requirements and/or have the English language skills for tertiary study.

The UQ Foundation Program is designed to enable international students to meet the minimum entry requirements for their preferred UQ undergraduate program. You will study five courses (subjects) for the entire duration of the Foundation Program, usually two core courses and three elective courses. You can choose your electives to meet the entry requirements for your chosen undergraduate program.
