8 Foundation Year Programs in Germany

The English Foundation Program is not a prerequisite for an EU degree. However, EU is an English-speaking business school and all classes, assignments, exams, lectures and final dissertations are carried out in English. If students need to improve their English to meet EU’s program admission requirements, this specialized program will help them refine their language skills and prepare them for our programs.

KLU’s Business Foundations Program (Studienkolleg) is the perfect starting point for international students transitioning to European education models and preparing for a Bachelor’s degree in business and management. This one-year program not only bridges educational gaps but also integrates students into KLU’s vibrant community from day one. Upon completing the program and passing the assessment test (Feststellungsprüfung), students seamlessly transition into the second year of KLU’s Bachelor program. Along the way, participants gain academic preparation, cultural immersion, and valuable career insights, ensuring a smooth transition to university life in Germany and setting the foundation for a successful global career.

The Pathway to your desired international degree program

The Executive Bridging Program is a one-year, two-semester program that enables students who do not have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent to access a graduate study program at EU Business School. To qualify students must have at least five years’ professional experience.

Our Business Bridging Program has been specifically designed for students who do not meet the academic requirements of our bachelor’s programs. It provides students with knowledge of the most important areas of business, covering essential theories of economics and management so that candidates can succeed in EU’s three-year bachelor’s programs.

International Foundation Year is designed for students who either do not meet the entry requirements for direct entry (English level, school qualifications, etc.) or would like to gain additional subject or academic skills confidence prior to the start of their degree course. International Foundation in Business provides an introduction to the world of economics and finance and guarantees progression onto BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance or BSc (Hons) Business Management (subject to meeting the required criteria).

International Foundation Year is designed for students who either do not meet the entry requirements for direct entry (English level, school qualifications, etc.) or would like to gain additional subject or academic skills confidence prior to the start of their degree course. International Foundation in Computer Science provides an introduction to the IT world and guarantees progression onto BSc (Hons) Computer Science or BSc (Hons) Software Engineering (subject to meeting the required criteria).
