9 Finance Foundation Year Programs

This course of study is aimed at individuals pursuing undergraduate degrees in business, economics, or management. It covers the fundamental business principles, mathematics, and language skills essential for success in university courses.

Our Business Bridging Program has been specifically designed for students who do not meet the academic requirements of our bachelor’s programs. It provides students with knowledge of the most important areas of business, covering essential theories of economics and management so that candidates can succeed in EU’s three-year bachelor’s programs.

The International Year One in Accounting Finance is a first-year undergraduate equivalent Program that builds students' knowledge and skills in the Business field. You will also study our integrated English for Academic Purposes module which is accepted in lieu of IELTS and will help you improve your English language skills.

The International Foundation Year in Business, Economics, Accounting and Finance prepares you to study an undergraduate degree in the exciting setting of Durham city. This programme lasts for three terms.

Students can enter at either Year 0 (University Foundation) or Year 1 (First Year Degree), depending on their qualifications. Students are guaranteed progression to the second year of a relevant degree, providing that progression criterion are met.

This course is specially designed for international student whose first language is not English. It will provide you with extra academic support to help with admission to undergraduate courses. It will help you develop an understanding of key business and finance-related concepts.

The course is designed for those who would like to improve their current skills through degree-level study and meet local businesses' employment needs.

The Accounting Program prepares students for entry-level positions in accounting and enhances the skills of individuals currently employed in the accounting field.
