11 Arts Foundation Year Programs

You will explore a variety of artistic courses and dive into Fashion, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, and Illustration. Developed by the Canvas School of Arts, the European Foundation Degree in Art & Design aims to let students create by having fun, travelling and learning a new language!

The AA Foundation Award in Architecture, Art and Design offers a full-time, one-year studio-based course for students who wish to pursue architecture and related arts subjects. A hands-on course of creative design, thinking and learning, it is intended for individuals with limited previous experience in creative fields, but with an interest in exploring, and preparing for, a future academic or professional career in architecture or the broader creative arts.

A qualification designed with our university partners to prepare you for first year entry to undergraduate degree courses. Studying in small classes with NCUK in your home country before you start your degree will give you the confidence you need before you start your degree course.

The arts foundation course allows students to gain experience in art, sound, media, and photography while building French language skills and a comprehensive portfolio of artwork.

The International Foundation Year in Art, Media & Architecture will prepare you for an undergraduate degree in a range of fields such as media, design journalism and fashion design. You will study core modules, which are general skills subjects, and optional modules such as media campaigns tailored to your chosen area of study, all of which are important for your academic development.

Foundation Online: Pathway to Paris offers the opportunity to students to live the Foundation experience remotely.

This course is ideal for learners progressing from a Creative Arts subject a Level Three who wish to progress into a career in the Creative Arts industry or to gain a stepping stone to university.
