The program's primary objective is to celebrate Italian culture and creative heritage, with a particular focus on the worlds of fashion, design, and the visual arts. Students will have the opportunity to develop a portfolio of individual projects and works through practical laboratory activities and specialized workshops.

Undergraduate degrees at the Bath School of Art, Film and Media and Bath School of Design are available as three-year or four-year programmes. Four-year degrees include either an integrated Foundation year or a professional placement year. We want to ensure that you reach your full potential. That's why we've devised an intensive and experimental Foundation course that develops your art and design abilities in relation to contemporary practice, and introduces you to our exceptional facilities and staff.

The AA Foundation Award in Architecture, Art and Design offers a full-time, one-year studio-based course for students who wish to pursue architecture and related arts subjects. A hands-on course of creative design, thinking and learning, it is intended for individuals with limited previous experience in creative fields, but with an interest in exploring, and preparing for, a future academic or professional career in architecture or the broader creative arts.

You will explore a variety of artistic courses and dive into Fashion, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, and Illustration. Developed by the Canvas School of Arts, the European Foundation Degree in Art & Design aims to let students create by having fun, travelling and learning a new language!

The International Foundation Year in Art, Media & Architecture will prepare you for an undergraduate degree in a range of fields such as media, design journalism and fashion design. You will study core modules, which are general skills subjects, and optional modules such as media campaigns tailored to your chosen area of study, all of which are important for your academic development.

Foundation Art & Design is an intensive one-year course designed for students who wish to enter British Baccalaureate courses but do not have the corresponding professional training and/or work experience in art and design. Classes give a broad scope of art and design and its many forms and the need for students to explore the available options before really understanding what their strongest points are. If the student does not have a portfolio or creation techniques, we recommend the Pre-Foundation course.
