The International Year One in Accounting Finance is a first-year undergraduate equivalent Program that builds students' knowledge and skills in the Business field. You will also study our integrated English for Academic Purposes module which is accepted in lieu of IELTS and will help you improve your English language skills.

The International Foundation Year in Business, Economics, Accounting and Finance prepares you to study an undergraduate degree in the exciting setting of Durham city. This programme lasts for three terms.

Students can enter at either Year 0 (University Foundation) or Year 1 (First Year Degree), depending on their qualifications. Students are guaranteed progression to the second year of a relevant degree, providing that progression criterion are met.

This excellent pathway area provides students who have an interest in accounting, finance or economics with a distinctive academic background that will prepare them for a high-achieving career. the University of Northampton is one of only six universities to have their courses accredited by AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) and up to nine exemptions are available from ACCA for select courses.

The Accounting Program prepares students for entry-level positions in accounting and enhances the skills of individuals currently employed in the accounting field.
