Faculty of Forestry has one department and one study programme namely the Study Programme of Forestry. Curriculum of the Forestry Study Programme which currently applies is the Curriculum of 2008 being simultaneously legalized by the University Senate with the other study programmes in the year 2010. However, since the year 2013, the curriculum referring to the Indonesian National Qualification Framework had been modified and legalized by the Faculty Senate in the year 2015. The curriculum modification was implemented to meet the employment opportunities, global demands and development, technology development, particularly in the field of forestry.

MPFS has a Vision: “being a pioneer master program in superior tropical forestry, innovative and prominent at the national level, as well as serving the interests of the peoples and the nation imbued with culture values based on Pancasila”.
