The BA in Fashion Design and Sustainable Fashion Management is a three-year (6 semesters) full-time programme taught in English. You’ll learn how to design clothes, footwear and accessories, use virtual tools and 3D printing, and take part in social-ecosystems shaping the future of eco-fashion.

We founded our school in 2004 with a mission to create a better future for fashion – more responsible and ethical. Our goal is not only to quickly prepare certified fashion designers for the market with a strong emphasis on sustainable fashion education, but also to actively support non-profit initiatives through our MSKPU community.

Completing the course is equivalent to receiving a certificate and implementing a diploma thesis (virtual collection) and presentation to the international Jury during the MSKPU Diploma Show. This course is provided by Em Pe Studio Design SP Zoo, apart from regular MSKPU 2-years courses.

Our 2-and-half-year full-time diploma program in English introduces you to different fields of fashion design and various areas of art. The program includes fashion design, jewelry design, fabric design, fashion illustration, sewing, pattern making, visual identification, painting, conceptual design, fashion photography, and computer programs. Educating fashion designers who are open to changes in the world around us is an extremely multifaceted task. In the conditions of conscious production and consumption of fashion goods, education in this area cannot focus solely on aesthetics.

Department of Scenography at the Faculty of Architecture and Design consists of five design studios, which conduct an interdisciplinary design and artistic educational work directed at the conscious and responsible shaping of the visual identity of the ‘stage’-the nearest environment. Stage Design and Fashion Design as specializations refer to creating ‘occasional space’ (theatre, TV studio, exhibitions, shows, spectacles, parades etc.).

Industrial design is the youngest of the practical disciplines. In Poland, the industrial design grew out of the tradition of practical arts, establishing itself as an independent field in the late 1970s. Thus, by definition, industrial design is the design of the form and features of products intended to be marketed. Failure to recognize its uniqueness as compared to the other creative disciplines, too often leads to it being described as one of the practical arts and crafts, and consequently to it being wrongly understood by society in general.

A specialization addressed to future designers, clothing/textile technologists, as well as future product managers who are interested in designing combined with product management - from the idea, through the sketch with full technical documentation, to its production.

The Textile Engineering program is a continuation of the first-cycle program. It trains specialists in the field with high potential for innovation. The curriculum makes it possible to learn the skills related to the design and engineering of textiles for medical, sports, and transport applications based on the latest material technologies. Students also learn to develop specialized textile applications for many different areas of human activity.
