The BEng (Hons) Marine Engineering and Management programme has been designed to cover the entire scope of Marine Engineering: mechanical and electrical systems, thermodynamics, mechanics, etc., so that graduates may be able to efficiently respond to the duties assigned to them on board.

The Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management was founded by Law 4589 GG 13A/29-1-2019 and joined the School of Plant Sciences of the Agricultural University of Athens. The Department has been operating since the academic year 2019-2020 and is based in Karpenisi. It is housed in the buildings of the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management of the former TEI of Central Greece, which operated in Karpenisi from 1983 to 2019, when it was abolished by the above law.
