The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Resilience in Educational Contexts -EMJM FLOURISH is a two-years’ full-time programme that seeks to address the need to provide a meaningful, relevant and balanced education for children growing up in adverse and marginalised circumstances, by focusing on their strengths and building their assets within protective contexts.

The Inter-University Inter-Departmental Master awards a Diploma of Postgraduate Studies (MSc) in Higher Education Policy: Theory and Practice (MaHep) - Teacher Education. The Master has two specializations: Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance and Teacher Education. The duration of the MaHep is two academic semesters or 60 ECTS. The maximum duration is four (4) semesters.

The only MA program in Greece that is a partnership between three Departments of the National and Kapodistian University of Athens and the European Wergeland Centre (Council of Europe and Norwegian Government), implemented fully online with a distinct English and Greek Curriculum. The 2-year part-time MA Education (TESOL) programme is aimed at recent graduates or teachers and tutors who wish to work as highly qualified English language teachers in Greece and abroad. In particular, it develops students’ knowledge and understanding of the linguistic processes involved in learning a second/foreign language; responding to the learning needs of students from diverse linguistic environments; modern pedagogical theories in the field of teaching English as a second/foreign language.

The 2-year part-time programme intends to train those who already work in the field of education and who wish to enrich their knowledge both theoretically as well as in practice, with a particular focus on topics of Management and Leadership in Education. Its flexible structure combined with block delivery on Saturdays and 1 weekday, makes the MA Education an ideal choice for educational professionals.

The Department of Physics of the University of Crete and the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) of the Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH) organises a 18 month intensive Master’s Degree Program in “Photonics & Nanoelectronics”.
