The BS in Accounting Program of Prince Sultan University was accredited by the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia on 21/9/1426 H, 24/10/2005 G. The decision to run BS in Accounting Program (the Directive No. 7/B/4453, is dated 3/4/1420 H, 17/7/1999 G; Written Telegram No. 10117, is dated 25/5/1420 H, 6/9/1999 G).

The Department of Economics and Project Management and the Investment and Finance Section were established with the establishment of the College. The two departments were merged into one department under the name of the Department of Economics and Finance after reference comparisons with accredited local, regional and international universities.

Under the heated economic rapid growth that we are currently live in, our beloved country faces lots of challenges. One of which, is developing the working force’s capacity to meet the Saudi market’s needs. This challenge can only be met when college’s graduates are well equipped with the necessary academic and practical skills.

To make the department pioneering in the qualification of cadres specialized in insurance, and recognized locally and international; depending on the knowledge economy.

The Department offers Accounting Bachelor’s Degree, it’s a 137 credit-hour degree program designed to prepare students for careers in the accounting profession including public accounting, corporate accounting, managerial accounting, and government and not-for-profit accounting, and to assist the students for preparing for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam.

The program has been scheduled to be delivered over 5 full days and incorporates various case studies and assignments to enable participants to be fully involved in real-life challenges.
