General objective The student will be able to identify the main traditions and visions that, from the power structures public, determine the design and content of social development policies in Mexico. Specific objectives: The student will be able to:  Identify the most relevant analysis perspectives on social development.  Analyze the relationship between economic development and social development in development theories.  Understand the relevance of theories of justice to evaluate the different types of policies and social programs.  Acquire the basic conceptual elements to distinguish the implications of the different types of social policies and their economic, political, and legal implications.

The CIDE Master in Economics is a teaching program designed with international standards that seeks the solid training of specialists in the main fields of the discipline. It is part of the offer of teaching programs of the Economics Division, together with the Bachelor's Degree in Economics, the Master's Degree in Environmental Economics, and the Doctorate in Public Policy. The latter is a program taught by the CIDE Public Administration Division. The origins of the Master in Economics go back to the very creation of the CIDE, since it was its original project. The current contents of the program are the result of the experience accumulated in the training of more than forty generations of students and more than six hundred graduates. With the knowledge acquired, our graduates will be able to develop professionally in the public sector, private companies, social organizations, international institutions, and academia. Our curriculum offers students theoretical and methodological foundations, analytical tools, and substantive knowledge. It is a demanding and rigorous program, which provides a unique pedagogical experience, financial support, and educational infrastructure. With this, it makes possible that, in two years, students obtain knowledge and skills for successful professional development, which allows them to improve their environment and generate useful knowledge.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY PLAN Train individuals through the necessary theoretical-practical knowledge, which allows them to participate in the analysis of the legal system in Mexico and other countries in order to obtain the ability to advise companies on different legal aspects as well as understanding and correct interpretation of the tax system.

Aim: To train Teachers capable of analyzing and evaluating the Mexican Tax System in the legal, economic, political, and technical fields, acquiring a critical attitude of it, through the application of knowledge to the tax system in Mexico, developing skills to carry out specialized activities in the public sector or private, defining problems and proposing solutions through process research for the innovation of tax models and assertive tax planning.

The commercial opening of Mexico and the globalization of international markets call for a university graduate capable of developing efficiently in multicultural business environments. In our country, both public and private companies are increasingly focused on international markets. Due to these trends, specialized professionals in the international business area are required to respond effectively to the challenges posed by growing international competition.

The master's degree in International Trade and Customs has as its main objective to provide the student with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to perform as an efficient and capable professional in the field of international economics, developing the skills and resources necessary to function in the current conditions of the global market. The program is oriented towards building the capacity and talent of the student to address complex situations and make strategic decisions, highlighting the skills and competencies related to organization, logistics, financing, projection, compliance with the local and international legal framework, as well as the commercialization of products in the international arena.

The Master in Local Development has the objective of Training researchers capable of analyzing and explaining development processes at the local level, providing knowledge and elements that can be used in the design of policies, programs, and actions that improve the living conditions of the population.

Based on the above qualities and aptitudes, it is a commitment that applicants to obtain the academic degree of Master in Economic Law, graduate as a practice to transform and update systems, with skills that the student will acquire upon graduation, mainly in the following facets : Determine the impacts of the different variables on the demand for a particular product and therefore on its sales. Analyze the market situation faced by a company to set production and price policies. Analyze the impact of industrial policies to regulate or promote government on a particular industry or company. Plan, direct or advise the activities of the company when they must be subject to current legal regulations, in order to prevent or avoid conflicts and, where appropriate, take charge of the litigation that there is a need to attend to settle legal claims of its clients. Design economic and market strategies to face national and international competition. Analyze the impacts of economic policy (monetary, fiscal, commercial, etc.) on economic law. Design models and analysis tools to explain macroeconomic problems. Know the international casuistry of stabilization problems. To interpret in a global way the problems of the economic development of Mexico and other countries. Build, analyze and evaluate economic models of chance between variables. Prepare and analyze economic information with the use of computational resources. Make forecasts of economic law variables, using quantitative tools and economic models. Produce reports on the economic situation regarding the sectoral, regional, and global economic evaluation of the country. Carry out feasibility studies for private and public investment projects, as well as market studies for goods and services.

To train professionals capable of establishing, initiating, formalizing, and fostering commercial relations with other countries, which allow stimulating and satisfying the demand for national products in international markets. As well as advising and stimulating the participation of national producers in international trade. Know, advise and operate in all processes involved in international trade within the legal and ethical framework that governs it.

The Graduate in Environmental Science and Risk Management has theoretical-practical knowledge in the broad spectrum of earth sciences and social sciences, which allows him to assess the environmental impact of any scenario and understand the processes involved in the conditions risk factors such as geological, meteorological, social, economic, technological, cultural and political factors.

The objective of the degree in Public Accountant is to train professionals capable of creating, directing, and innovating organizations, optimizing resources, being competitive in a national and international environment, counting on theoretical, practical, and methodological knowledge, as well as skills and attitudes, with an entrepreneurial, ethical and human vision to direct, advise and execute all those activities that allow them in a dependent or independent way both in the public and private sectors, the systematization, and control of fiscal and financial information of companies or organizations, analyzing the accounting, fiscal and financial trends developed to date and considering the organizational culture and the economic, political and social environment of the country.

Train and prepare professionals with scientific and technical knowledge that allow them to intervene in accounting and inspection processes of taxpayers with physical and moral personalities; as well as in small and medium-sized private or public companies, and prepare investment projects, financial analyzes, as well as fiscal and financial audits.

The graduate of the Bachelor of Public Accounting will be a professional capable of: »Make financial, fiscal and strategic business management decisions, nationally and internationally, for the benefit of the growth and development of the company. »Develop and integrate systems for the interpretation of operations and financial statements with the support of auditing methods and techniques, within a legal and fiscal context.
