Participation of academics from various disciplines associated with a set of national and international universities and scientific institutions that have competence in the area of ​​sustainable management for the training of researchers who contribute to the knowledge of southern biodiversity, its valuation and conservation, In this way, the training of a specialist in the area of ​​Management and Conservation of Natural Resources in Subantarctic Environments with a high scientific level preparation, capable of teaching and conducting research in the broad field of biological diversity, its ecological functions are sought. and its economic value under management and conservation plans that promote environmental and economic sustainability. This will allow technical advice to state or private organizations.

The Engineering in Risk Prevention and Environment career is aimed at the comprehensive training of a competent professional leader of the preventive culture, capable of developing plans, programs, and new strategies in the prevention of occupational risks, linked to the areas of safety, occupational health, environment and quality of the organization according to the requirements of the labor market. The Risk Prevention and Environmental Engineer has a solid background in knowledge, skills, and aptitudes that allow him to be a specialist professional capable of adding value through management, capable of ensuring due compliance with hygiene and safety regulations, articulating the different levels of the area, making an up-to-date record of workplace accident and disease statistics, identify the risks associated with the tasks and propose a plan that promotes control measures aimed at guaranteeing the health and safety of workers, causing significant changes and positively impacting the organization and its environment.

This graduate may perform various tactical and strategic roles within organizations in the public and/or private area and, related to the international trade of goods and services, regulatory institutions, maritime port companies, financial institutions and those that are oriented in developing advisory consulting activities for national and international markets.
