6 Economics Degree Programs in Azerbaijan

The thorough understanding of economics that this course offers will enable students to better understand the world around you and the economic issues we encounter on a daily basis. An Economics offers a great opportunity to engage with modern economic policy issues and economic analysis. Students will study modern economic analysis, economic policy issues, and research techniques.

The students were accepted to the specialty of Accountancy and calculation of Master department (for full-time) in 1999. The admission to part-time department began from 2002. The students were accepted to part-time department in 2013-2014 years.

This course takes students through the major macro issues relating to the modern world of international business. The course is about the world environment of business addressed at a global, national and regional level. It does not address specific firm management topics, but rather is complementary to those topics.

Currently, at the faculty of Economy 4 specialties are available in the chair of Accountancy and calculation. One of these specialties is Accountancy and calculation. The specialty of Accountancy and calculation has a special place in the preparation of accounting staff in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

This course introduces basic accounting principles for a business. Topics include the complete accounting cycle with end-of-period statements, bank reconciliation, payrolls, and petty cash. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of accounting principles and apply those skills to a business organization.

At present moment there are 676 full – time and 79 correspondence bachelor’s degree students, 46 full – time and 14 correspondence master’s degree students and 12 Ph.D.s carry out scientific research.
