The Master of Arts in Economics, Development and Innovation (MEDI) is designed to combine rigorous theoretical and empirical training with a truly interdisciplinary approach that bridges political economy, mathematics and statistics, business economics, and law.

With a double degree from the University of Göttingen (Germany), you will obtain specialised knowledge of international markets and the global interconnections between national economies. What are the consequences of globalisation for the socioeconomic and institutional differences between countries and what roles do multinational companies play in this respect? You will learn to apply the tools of modern economic analysis to issues of development policy and to communicate effectively with researchers, policymakers and practitioners on development issues.

This doctoral program provides a double continuity: first, to the previously existing doctoral program, and secondly to the Official Master's Degree in Regional Development and Economic Integration, which provides the teaching period. It deals with a rigorous, transversal program with the participation of multiple areas of knowledge, seeking interdisciplinarity in the analysis rather than the excessive specialization that occurred in some of the doctoral courses of a more formalistic nature, scarcely intensive and with hardly any orientation to the research training.

The purpose of the MCom in Development Economics is to develop the applied competence of the student on an advanced level in the mastering, analysis, interpretation, and understanding of developmental economic principles and methods.

The purpose of the MCom in Local Economic Development is to develop an advanced level of knowledge, skills, and applied competence in the field of Local Economic Development (LED).

Our one-of-a-kind Master of Science in International and Development Economics (IDEC) provides students with the knowledge and skills to understand how market forces can be harnessed to empower developing countries to break from cycles of poverty.

The DEIN-Circular Master provides advanced, specialized and multidisciplinary training in the field of sustainable economic development and innovation, with two alternative profiles, one oriented towards R&D and innovation management and policies and the other to the Circular Economy and sustainable development.

Established in 2018, the Caucasus School of Economics has the mission to implement modern attitudes and values of economic science and to prepare highly qualified specialists. The MSc in Economics and Development offers lessons and research projects in the heart of Florence. The MEDEG programme is offered by a consortium of the University of Groningen (The Netherlands), Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain) and Lund University (Sweden). You study the first year either in Groningen or Madrid. In the second year, all students move to Sweden to specialise in development and growth issues at Lund University School of Economics and Management. The programme provides you with the theoretical and quantitative tools needed to grasp the main debates in economics and other social sciences, as well as the specialised understanding of context, institutions, and historical legacies in developing economies required to deal with the full complexity of development issues.

The Economics & Policy MSc offers strong disciplinary and methods training on Economics with an eye to applying key methodological tools in the analysis of economic policy making. It aspires to train professional economists who will embark on careers in both private and government sectors as well as international organisations that are responsible for designing and implementing economic policy.

The International Master's Programme in Economics (120 credits) provides you with deeper knowledge of economic theory and its application in the real world, providing skills that can benefit society in fields such as sustainable development or competition and regulation. You have the option to focus on an area of your choice and even to spend a semester studying at a different university or in another country.

This MSc Economics with Data Science program is suited to both professionals and recent undergraduates, following a related degree in economics, computer science, physics, maths, or engineering, with exposure to quantitative methods and/or programming. Combining theoretical and practical teaching by experts in both economics and mathematical engineering disciplines, the programme provides training on essential programming and data science software, alongside robust economics content distinctive to this programme.

The MSc SIA offers top-level training in the analysis of the economic, social and environmental impact of economic decisions, infrastructure projects and public policies, in the context of the transformation of our society towards sustainable development.
