Master’s in early childhood education programme is a post-graduate degree designed for students wishing to further their education and conduct research in the areas of early childhood education. It provides the opportunity for students to delve further into what it takes to successfully guide and teach children.

HELP’s Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Hons) is aimed at allowing our early childhood specialists to foster a wide range of competencies that cover the development of the young child from birth to junior primary levels.

This programme combines coursework and research to equip learners with expertise in Educational Management, Early Childhood Education, or Teaching of English as a Second Language (TESL).

AeU’s Master of Education blends strong theoretical foundations with practical insights, equipping graduates to lead innovations in pedagogy, curriculum, technology integration, and education policy. The programme culminates in a Project Paper aligned with your selected area of concentration.

The Diploma in Early Childhood Education program is designed to strengthen education in the early childhood fields, including psychology, pedagogy, behaviour, socioemotional, psychomotor, and more.

The theory and practical elements of this programme provide students with up-to-date knowledge and expertise in child development, early years curriculum design as well as pedagogy in literacy, acts, mathematics and science. Thus, enabling them to effectively apply what they have learnt to their teaching careers. This programme includes practicum placement and micro-teaching in early childhood settings in which students are trained to be competent early childhood educators.

This programme will fully equip students with the theoretical knowledge, teaching pedagogies, practical skills and holistic understanding of young children’s development, learning needs and growth. The programme covers various ECE specialities such as: child development, creativity through music, movement, art and drama, teaching mathematics and sciences to young children, language and literacy, health, safety and nutrition, infant and toddler care and teaching social studies to young children.

A pass in STPM with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in any two subjects or its equivalent.
