The MA/MFA Performance is an exciting master's program that offers a practical, versatile, and interdisciplinary approach to performance-making and training. The program provides students with an advanced and practical understanding of current performance practices, drawing on a broad range of artistic and theoretical influences.

Drawing is an essential part of every art and design specialism, as well for those who wish to work in the creative industries, and is at the heart of what we do here at AUB.

Our MA Drawing programme enables you to examine, interrogate and reflect upon the nature and role of drawing as practice. We provide a critically engaged and supportive studio environment in which you can develop and extend your use of drawing, encouraging you to take risks with your own practice, and to experiment with and critically reflect upon drawing practice, using current research.

This fascinating workshop is available any Monday until July 2024 for school groups. Taught by renowned artist Mik Godley, sessions aim to focus on improving the skills of life drawing, completing exercises to practice specific skills. All materials and equipment will be provided. FREE minibus parking is available on request.

This art and design course will provide you with the opportunity to actively participate in structured sessions to develop understanding and confidence with the production of visual imagery. Studies will start with an emphasis on observation and drawing. Followed by subsequent translation to develop work across a range of processes that may include painting, collage and printmaking. Continuous support, guidance and advice will be on hand throughout. The classes offer an informative and conducive learning opportunity that shares and builds upon experience through practical activity and reflection. Returning students have the opportunity to further apply knowledge and experience to extend and develop their practice.

Designed to immerse you in a wide range of traditional and contemporary techniques, you will simultaneously develop a distinct creative voice as a contemporary professional artist. Our tutors are all practising artists who bring unique, independent experience to the classroom and studio teaching. The course specialises in the embodied practice of painting, with the synergy of drawing and fine print together with colour as a conceptual and pedagogical practice.

This Level 3 two year course will teach you a variety of 2D mark-making skills with a strong emphasis on drawing and generating original styles and concepts for the animation, cartoon and illustration industries. On completing the course you will have a portfolio to present to potential employers as evidence of your artistic abilities. This qualification will also be suitable for those wishing to go onto higher level studies at Foundation Diploma level and then Degree.

Our tutors will guide you through the application and use of post-production software to give you an understanding of editing techniques and creative post-production processes.
