The Doctorate in Education program aims to upgrade the learners’ educational management and leadership skills, turning them into highly efficient evidence-based practitioners and supporting the profession’s growth.

Education is a broad domain with a number of specialty domains. These include such specializations as learning development and instruction, early childhood development, elementary and secondary education, special education, adult education, educational research, curriculum design, literacy studies, language education, mathematical studies, teacher education, and other specialties.

The Ed. D. degree program of study is designed to give students a broad conceptual framework in leadership theory and research.

With state authorization number 003620, issued by the Ministry of Public Education of Nayarit, and federal authorization number DEGESPE / 2465/15 dated September 25, 2015, issued by the Ministry of Basic Education and the General Directorate of Higher Education for Education Professionals, it is an educated program, with a duration of two years (six semesters), whose graduates will contribute to improving educational quality to help raise the level of academic achievement of students of basic and upper secondary education, through the innovation of hope, to produce learning.

The course has a broadband character, being the specialization obtained in the doctoral thesis. Its main objective is the production of knowledge through the realization of original research in the area of ​​Educational Sciences, from a fundamental or applied perspective.
