The Medical Office Assistant Program Is designed to prepare students for an exciting and rewarding career as a clerk/secretary in a health care setting. Students will gain knowledge in Medical Terminology, billing procedures, appointment booking & scheduling, transcription prioritizing & organizational skills and communication skills. This knowledge will be taught within the modules in the Medical Office Assistant Program.

As a Medical Esthetician, your role is one of customer care, from booking appointments and greeting your clients to providing them with a skin analysis, applying make-up, providing cosmetic massage, and performing regular or medical facial treatments. You may also provide laser, and radiofrequency treatments as well as microdermabrasion. As a professional, you pride yourself on upholding standards in order to prevent the transmission of contamination or any infection. Beyond direct client care, Medical Estheticians are professionals adept at communications and management duties such as scheduling and confirming appointments; performing preparatory work and properly cleaning and restocking rooms/dispensaries as required; controlling and monitoring inventory; as well as, promoting treatments, services, sessions, and programs available to clients. You are a multi-tasker and have a passion for understanding the specialized knowledge around all that you offer to clients and enjoy educating and informing them in these myriad areas.

This diploma program focuses on preparing graduates to work as medical laboratory assistants in a variety of institutions or laboratories by providing a solid theoretical and practical foundation in the application of current medical lab theory, tools, processes, procedures and practices.

This three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program is accredited by the Accreditation Canada Accreditation Canada Equal. The program prepares you with the knowledge and technical skills required to produce diagnostic images and carry out diagnostic procedures in the role of a Medical Radiation Technologist. These skills are outlined by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists Radiological Technology competency profile. Working independently, and in collaboration with healthcare team members, Medical Radiation Technologists analyze a variety of complex diagnostic images to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of multiple system disorders.

It is designed specifically, but not exclusively, for students with little or no scientific background, and is ideal for those who wish to pursue a career in osteopathy or a related healthcare discipline, but aren’t yet ready to undertake a degree Program

The Opticianry program teaches students how to fabricate prescription lenses from semi-finished lens blanks inserted into fashionable eyewear worn by the patient. Adjusting and fitting eyewear and frame selection and dispensing are also part of the curriculum. The Opticianry program provides learning opportunities that introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.
