Our 2200 Hour Massage Therapy Program has been approved and recognized by Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) and is under the Private Vocational Training Act of Alberta. It is a two-year full-time program.

Study units include First Aid, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. For Students wanting to continue study after successful completion of this qualification can apply for course credit for the HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage.

This Remedial Massage course comprehensively prepares students to administer remedial massage to clients experiencing soft tissue dysfunction, musculoskeletal imbalance and restrictions in range of motion.

The Massage Therapist program is designed to provide the student the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to begin a successful career as a therapeutic massage therapist within the healthcare community. The program prepares the student to work in a variety of traditional and non-traditional medical facilities.

Massage is the practice of influencing soft tissue by physical, functional, and in some cases psychological purposes and goals by accredited professionals. Massage involves acting on and inspiring the client’s body with pressure (structured, unstructured, stationary, and/or moving), tension, motion, or vibration done manually or with mechanical aids.

This qualification reflects the role of Remedial Massage Therapists who work with clients presenting with soft tissue dysfunction, musculoskeletal imbalance or restriction in ROM (Range of motion). Study units include First Aid, Aromatherapy and Reflexology.

The NZ Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage is a one year full-time or equivalent part-time programme, which offers you stimulating studies leading towards a qualification as a massage therapist. This programme provides practical and theoretical knowledge and skills in massage and has close links with the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science.
