Covering a wide range of shipping operations activities, this programme begins with the subject of international business, shipping practices, human capital development in shipping, and international shipping business.

The programme examines International labour standards, national laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines and standards best practices to provide information on the types of hazards that may be encountered onshore and offshore and relevant preventive and protective measures to ensure safe working and living environment.

The Level 3 120 credit ‘A-Level’ equivalent qualification helps students learn key concepts and a range of management procedures required to work within a business.
