The Post-Degree Diploma in Natural Resource Law Enforcement allows students with degrees related to fish, wildlife, or natural resource science to specialize in natural resource law enforcement. The Post Degree Diploma in Natural Resource Law Enforcement is a full time, two semester face to face program; the program also includes a 2-week (10 day) practicum. Throughout the program experiential learning is emphasized and students have the opportunity to meet and engage with natural resource law officers during field and classroom-based projects and activities. Graduates of the Post-Degree Diploma in Natural Resource Law Enforcement will have the skills and educational background requirements to enter directly into the workforce as natural resource law enforcement officers and inspectors in BC and elsewhere in Canada.

It is a two-year, four-semester program in which students will take a variety of criminal and social justice related courses in Sociology, Psychology, Political Science and Criminology, as well as elective Arts courses of personal interest. Some fields of inquiry may include indigenous studies, gender studies, race and ethnicity, globalization and poverty.

The Paralegal Diploma program at Okanagan College provides in-depth, substantive training for students interested in starting a career as a paralegal. Learn the skills and knowledge required to assist in many areas of law, such as litigation, corporate law and real estate. This Paralegal Diploma provides in-depth substantive paralegal training. In year 1, students will learn the skills required to assist in the many litigation, corporate, and conveyancing areas of law. Year 2 will provide students with extensive knowledge in the areas of Tort Law, Contract Law, Law of Evidence, Administrative Law, Intellectual Property Law, etc. Between Years 1 and 2 students have an opportunity to work as assistants to gather more work experience before they delve into the 2nd-year paralegal courses.
