You will study the core concepts of the anatomy and physiology of the human body and the ways in which the body and mind develop and change across the lifespan.Theoretical content in the classroom is brought to life through simulated practical activities in laboratory settings. Theoretical models are explored through interactive workshops, and while simulated, real health service settings provide practical, experiential learning.

The Personal Support Worker (PSW) program prepares graduates to provide supportive care to individuals across their lifespan by assisting them with their activities of daily living, including clients experiencing cognitive impairment, physical disability, and mental health challenges. The Program was developed and maintained by a committee consisting of consultants, program design experts, subject-matter experts from both the Regulated College sector and employer groups.
