The Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts at the City of Westminster College offers a comprehensive and immersive education for aspiring performers and production professionals. This dynamic program provides students with the opportunity to develop their talents and skills across a range of disciplines within the performing arts.

The DEC in Dance gives access to dance programs offered by universities or by professional training institutions in this field, leading to a career in performance, choreography or teaching. It also allows you to enroll in any other university program that does not require specific prerequisites, for example in the arts and human and social sciences.

The ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) DDE is an initial accredited teaching qualification at Level 4, aimed at students from 16 years or older who wish to begin training as a dance teacher. Bird College offers the DDE in Modern, Tap and Imperial Classical Ballet as extra-curricular classes to those students who are taking the Degree or Diploma courses. This intensive course runs throughout the Christmas, Easter and half term holidays and is led by one of the ISTD’s Senior Examiners.
