Cardiovascular technologists are allied health professionals who perform tests at the request of a physician to obtain information about a patient’s heart and blood vessel anatomy and function. The new Client Service Specialist Certificate (CSS) is a distinctive program MITT has developed in partnership with the Manitoba Tourism Education College (MTEC). Although students will receive the MITT credential upon successful completion, the ten months of occupational specific, career development and technical courses are delivered by MTEC in a classroom located in MTEC’s facility (Unit 3 -75 Scurfield Blvd). At the end of the program, MTEC will connect students with their numerous employer contacts for a one-month, unpaid work practicum.
