Located in the heart of a downtown campus, the Brazil Studio offers a bilingual program that allows an accelerated acculturation to the Portuguese language and the Brazilian context.

Throughout the Master International Design Strategy / China Studio students will learn to decipher the local behaviors and understand the Chinese market to offer a coherent project, adapted to users, with an anthropological approach to design. This program is a stepping stone to an international designer career.

The program follows an open organizational structure that allows flexibility among the different areas of design specialization. In this structure, students choose their own study paths according to their skills and abilities – which are often revealed during the course of their studies. The Design Project modules are responsible for guiding their academic pathway. Each Design Project course must be taken together with three other courses which, combined together, will meet its parallel prerequisites (see figure 1). The prerequisite courses give support to the development of the project and their instructors are responsible for the conduction, organization and evaluation of the student’s project, which should be based upon the content of all courses for the knowledge to be fully achieved.

In the course matrix, we work on design in its broad market potential, covering everything from a strategic and innovation vision to the practical development of projects such as brand identity, magazines, packaging, typography, 3D, UX, UI, product design, service design, combining creativity, sensitivity, mastery of languages and socio-environmental responsibility to an ability to solve problems and demands of today's society.

Understanding Design as innovation, methodology, and technique resulting in artifacts, services, and processes for political, social, and economic development, the Graduate Program in Design is structured in an area of ​​concentration which is Design and in two lines of research, these being: Management - based on Strategic Design Management, applied to organizations with a technological and social base, including sectors with high technological development and also community sectors It considers the operational, tactical, and strategic aspects and their relationship with the performance of the productive processes in the companies.

Whether you are currently working as a Creative, Strategist or in Management, the Design Lead program will help you sharpen your concept skills and challenge you to solve real-world problems. The Design Lead program aims to develop conceptual thinkers who can visualise, communicate, and present ideas effectively, collaborate cross-functionally and prioritise people and processes. A minimum of one year of full-time work experience in a design related field is required as a prerequisite for the program.

The main objective of the Design course at PUC Goiás is to train professionals who are capable of generating solutions to meet the multiple real needs of the population in an integrated, responsible and creative way. The course understands that, to act in the face of the problems presented by society, the designer must have a comprehensive and multidisciplinary training and be able to move in various areas, supports and media.
