The B.A. in Music and Performance Studies is designed to expose students to a range of thinking primarily based on musicological and ethnomusicological concepts. It offers music courses that range from introductory to advanced levels and although grounded in Western diatonic harmony, considers and explores culturally diverse methods of making, performing, producing and consuming music.

Textiles and Fibre Arts offers a broad range of studio experiences which prepare fiber artists, textile and fashion designers for professional practice.

Traditional and Folk Dance Studies pulls together the components necessary to facilitate the development of dance artists that are well-rounded in their understanding of Caribbean traditional and folk dance forms.

In the Bachelor of Fine Art in Performance and Choreography, students are guided towards greater knowledge of their artistry, through a focus on the communicative, artistic, technical and physical aspects of the crafts of dance performance and dance choreography.

This degree is designed to train students for careers in jazz, popular or commercial music performance and/or instruction.

The programme aims to provide training in essential critical thinking, technical and aesthetic skills of acting for the stage.

Printmaking offers a range of traditional and contemporary approaches which include relief, intaglio, digital and alternative printmaking.

Photography provides broad exposure to a range of practice and conceptual and aesthetic approaches while offering the opportunity to select a track in one of three areas: Fine Art Photography, Photo Journalism, and Commercial Practice.

This programme of study is designed for those who wish to pursue a career in music performance and/or private studio teaching, and will also prepare students for graduate studies in performance.

The Jewellery program prepares students for professional studio practice. This includes studio art, fashion and industrial jewellery.

The painting programme offers the opportunity to explore the diverse possibilities of contemporary art practice, and cross-disciplinary experimentation.

Ceramics provides students with the opportunity to develop as studio artists and designers for industrial products; introducing a range of possibilities for working with clay.

Students enrolled in sculpture are exposed to traditional approaches such as modeling, carving and constructing, as well as the possibilities of contemporary modes of three-dimensional expression.

Dance Education is intended not only for the practitioners in the field of Dance Education but also for those general educators who are aspiring to teach the art form.
